Skip lotions the day of your tan, though a little moisturizer on scabs, scars and dry patches is fine.
Chemical peels, Retin A and some medicines affect your pH balance and the color of your tan. Avoid them for at least a week beforehand to prevent “orange”.
Most clients prefer no tan lines. If being in the buff is uncomfortable, disposable bikinis or boxers are available on request.
If you wear your own, don’t wear your best. Tan solution has a hard time washing out of Lycra or Spandex.
Dark, loose-fitting clothing afterwards. Avoid tight straps for the first few hours while the tan processes.
